Apparently I'm not to watch the butterfly position when I set the choke. I set it back today without looking at the butterfly with a slower version of yesterday. I don't follow the reason it goes faster as it warms up.

I learned from my son that it is normal for this car to start at 1500 rpm then sleep up a idling. When it's kicked down it drops to a 1000 rpm which is it's normal.

I don't watch the RPM's but thats what my car does as well.I,ve got mine to idle @650 RPM's when she is fully warmed up.

Thanks. This one needs to idle at 700 when in gear. This is a good learning experience.

I'm still having problems with the fuel bowls overfilling. I check it while it's in the garage and it's not overfilled. I put it on the street, not going over 25 mph. The car shuts down because the bowl is overfull. Any clues on what I'm missing?
