    If done tastefully, I like it (even if just a decal). I like the AMC woodies.

    Its different, can't say one way or the other just yet. Would have to see other cars but I do agree if done tastefully then it could be ok. But still nothing beats the realy woody's.

    I think the PT and the Smart car in the OP are both just about as good looking as those cars can get. The Smart car above is actually the only one that I've ever seen that made me think "Well that looks pretty cool!"

    The Smart car, don't get it, the woody look doesn't look correct on a new styled vehicle.
    The PT, not too bad, at least the PT has somewhat of an older style look, I've had a couple PT's in the past, really enjoyed driving them. I added a few old school touches to my black PT, chrome reverse wheels, lake pipes, 123 louvers in the hood, had a lot of good comments from people.
    Back to the original post, I think the Smart Car is neat looking, but wouldn't want to own one.
