ive actualy got a 57 for nine inch for the car. and i could put the disk off the 8.8 explorer on the nine inch . direct bolt. but the axle splines are extremely rusted and the ring gear is also. and since money is more then tight and ive got the good explorer rear thats what im going with. the 8.8 ford is very strong, and im not doing smokey burnouts or racing it. its a driver. it will be fine.

Justa rebuilt my 02 Ranger rearend. New clutches, bearings N "treated" it to new brake pads as well. Can't see why it wouldn't work. Good luck
