    I have had the same results with DupliColor in the past.

    This is what I used on the Vega Motor:

    * Block - Primer/Gloss Black
    * Oil Pan - Primer/Silver
    * Headers & Exhaust - BBQ Black

    Camaro Motor:

    * Block & Oil Pan - Primer/Old Ford Blue (Matches the stripes very well)
    * Timing Chain Cover - Primer/Silver
    * Alternator Bracket - Primer/Silver

    It's been almost 4 years for the Vega, and 2 years for the Camaro, and the high heat paint on both still look like the day I put them in. These are my got to paints for anything that will see heat. Hope this helps
