Default Am I a friggin duck? a frog? a fish?

Rain this summer in Florida has been out of control. I go to bed, its raining, I wake up, its raining, No wait......when I am at the house and the cars are safely in the garage? Blue skies and sunshine. Now when I pull the cars out into the sunshine? I'm good until I am half a mile away from the house and then BAM!!!! Rain and slop and road spray.there thats more accurate of a story. You gotta love Murphys Law.

I swear out of 100 days straight and at all random times of the day? I have gotten caught in a downpour 99 of those times. And yes I am one of those guys that washes the car everytime I get caught and yes I wash the car even in the rain and then dry it in the garage. Its become a damn full time job!!!!!

I have missed more car shows than attended this year because of rain. And it doesnt happen before you get to the show. It happens after you detailed the car for the show and are halfway to the show or it happens after you get to the show and have completely detailed the car and then it rains.

I'm done, see ya in the fall.

Same here! Chicago land weather is so unpredictable. I love washing the cars but when it rains on them that night...What the heck!!!

Too hot, too rainy, too cold, all I want is good weather to drive in!!

Cars shows start picking up in this area late September. Most of the rain is gone and it is a little cooler by then. It gets mighty hot sitting or walking around a car show in June and July, so I prefer pursuing other activities that get me less sun beaten during those months. There does seem to be an extraordinary amount of rain this rainy season. Did I say rainy season?

    Have you tried kayaking ???

Not kayaking but white water rafting I have done. I'm just sitting in my office listing collectible Corvette Hot Wheels on Ebay. The rain has been on and off all morning. I washed the car once, I'm not taking it out again today. lol.

That shark in your pic looks familiar, I think he just swam past my living room window. LMAO!

There's a rule of thumb here ... yeah, it's raining, but just for 20 minutes. My boys will actually head out to the field to practice baseball as it's raining- knowing by time they get there it will have stopped.

Pinellas County kinda reminds me of South Korea during monsoon season medium rain for 3 months non stop, this rainy season has been weird no set time of day downpour for 20 min. [sometime while the sun shines bright] then it stops or the never ending downpour! I have covered up my Cuda and said good night till September, I don't care if it gets wet an dirty it's just boring going to a cruise in and only a few cars show up plus I gotta play musical cars to get mine out of the shop and the reverse to get it back in.
