    Default The '68 is DONE!!

After 8 long years, the restoration of the '68 RS/SS is complete!

I didn't do all the work, but I did the paint & body 8 years ago, then after being at a few shops (for years) that just couldn't do it right, it came back to me to get running, fix all of their mistakes/short cuts, and do the finishing out. I've been working on it everyday for the last year, with the last month being nothing but wet sanding/buffing/waxing/polishing. The only things not new/replaced on this car is the lower dash panel and the rear seat x bracing. Every body panel (including roof), every piece of plastic, rubber, chrome, trim, wire, glass, & nut & bolt, are new. It's literally a 2013-1968 Camaro. Glad it's finally done!

Wildwood 4 Piston Disc Brakes (fron & rear)

    Hydra-Boost braking system
    Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator
    Dual Electric Fans
    March Serpentine Belt System
    Vintage Air AC
    Flowmaster X-Pipe Exhaust w/Super 40's
17" Custom Made Wheels (8 years ago, NO ONE had these)
    HoundsTooth Seats
    Deluxe Interior
    Tic-Toc Tach
    Console w/gauges
    Custom Retro Stereo System
    DynoMat Throughout
More that I'm sure I forgot...

I will be doing a "How To Wet-Sand & Buff" article using this car as the subject. Stay tuned!

That's a beauty. Couple of things coming on the horizon at this end- I can benefit from a wet-sanding lesson.
