Default Might be interested in a '71 Nova

My son and I went and looked at this '71 Nova today. Its definitely a project car but looks like it could be fun. My first muscle car I ever had was a '71 Nova that I got just after high school. Here are some of the details I know about it. I know it has a 383 Stroker engine in it and a positraction rear end but I couldn't remember the gears. I think he said 373 if that sounds right. Anyway, there's some work that needs to be done to the body and he's gonna replace the wheels with some bigger tires that fit the performance. My question to you guys is; Is it worth $6,500 to start? That's what he's asking for it. Anyway, here's some pics.

Bench or bucket seats? Auto trans? Looks like a good deal if its a driver. My son went from Mi to Fla to buy his for the same price. Hauled it back, then hauled it all the way back to Fla when he moved there. He still has it. Good find.

Sounds like a good deal if it's a driver - Love the Nova and a 383 feels good!

nevermind.. it got sold.. but from what I was hearing from other peeps.. they were telling me that I should stay away... I can get a stroker engine alot cheaper and the body needed too much work. no biggie.. there will be others
