    Default Greets From Saskatchewan, Canada

Over the years I have owned a fair share of different rides.

Presently I have a 66 Buick Riviera GS and a 66 Renault Caravelle.

Here is a pic of my Riv

The Renault is a project that we will start on in the spring. I will take some pics of it when the snow goes away.

I am also going to be sending my Riv in to have some minor engine work done at one of the machine shops here in town. I do like the 425 dual 4's

I almost got excited because it looked slightly like a Cyclone. Then I became sad. Then I didn't care because more cars!

    Welcome.

I always liked the big Riviera's. They have a look like no other.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

Basically my riv is totally stock from bumper to bumper with the exception of some touch up areas in the paint dept.

Though I am really tempted to spruce up the engine a bit, I am going to resist the temptation and keep this car cherry. When I was on the hunt for a car that was in the low build number for it's year, I also wanted something that was as close to stock as the day it rolled out of the production line. This particular car was 1 of 179 built with this sheet. So it fit the description of what I was looking for. I had it shipped out from Washington this spring and was totally impressed when it arrived.

The engine was redone roughly 2000 miles ago, and the work I am going to get done in the spring will most be in the area of making sure it runs with pristine smoothness.

The renault however is a different story . It was a serious deal when I came across it. The young kid who had it before pulled it apart to do paint on it. What is in the works for it is to see how large or small of a V8 can be fit into it. The goal with the car is to try to make it a sleeper with some very big horses for a very small car.
