    Default Friday morning WTF?

Nothing like waking up at 5am to see your neighbors truck backed into and smashed one your vehicles with backup lights still on to find he's passed out drunk in the front seat. Oh, and then to see that he took a huge piss all over your driveway before crawling back in to finish his nap.

My home phone rings at 5:02am, it's my driveway side neighbor calling "Hey, your neighbor, I think it's him, is passed out in your driveway. His door is open with his legs hanging out. He's, he's, also in the back of your van I think!" I look out the bedroom window and sure as shit, WTF! Wife is in the shower and I throw on some pants, call 911, and grab the pistol. I go out after getting off the phone to investigate. I slowly walk up to the open drivers door and the guy is motionless and quiet. I yell loudly multiple times "Hey, wake up!" He finally moves, sits up, and almost coherently says "What the hell?" I say "What the hells right. You passed out in my driveway and crashed into my van dude. You need to wake the phuck up." He gets out, looks at the back of the truck, then starts walking towards me ( 8-10 ft. away). I take a step back for every step he takes forward until I raise the pistol a little from pointing at the ground and tell him to not come any closer. He Says "Woa, it's not like that!" I say "Guy, I don't know you and "what it's like" has yet to be determined". He backs up and says "Alright, alright." After a few minutes of him getting his marbles back in line, he says, "Man if the cops come I'm going to jail and I'm going to lose my job for DWI. I'll fix your van, but I'm going to go ahead and pull into my driveway and go inside." I say "You're a grown man, I can't tell you what to do, but they will still come over there when they get here." He says "That's ok". That's when he finds his battery dead. Cick, click, click... He goes ahaed and walks home and closes the door before the Sheriff gets here. The Sherrif pounded the door all to hell, but the guy never answered. The Sheriff had his truck towed and said "Well, now he will now be charged with leaving the scene of an accident when he comes to pick it up".

    His driveway.

If winning was easy, then the losers would be winners.
I wish I was the man my dog thinks I am.

Wow what a bummer Sean. What a way to start the day. Good luck trying to to find the custom bumper facia. I know when I worked at the GMC dealership, custom van parts were often difficult to obtain because the van companies would change names or go out of business so fast. On a positve note, the facia does not look too damaged, so it can probably be repaired.

Musta been a hella' bender! I feel for you man, but sounds like you handled it extremley well all things considered. Some folks just got no dayum sense. Least he backed into a unoccupied vehicle - someone so tore up they do what this guy did drove home in horrid shape - thank God he didn't take out some innocent on his/her way to work or something.

Good luck getting it all ironed out - I would imagine your neighbor will not be showing his face 'round the ol neighborhood too much.
I may not do it all right, but I'll do it myself the best I can - THATS HOT RODDING!
