Default Several hundred mile road trip with several car shows and a concert.

Christy (wife), Lexi (daughter) and I took the fat rat and the rat's nest for a road trip across Arizona.

We started Saturday morning with a car show an hour and a half away on Route 66. The car show is the Arizona Route 66 Fun Run (www.azrt66.com) There were over 800 registered vehicles in the show. We got there at about 0830 and stayed until the roll out at 1000. At 10 am the run starts. You cruise Route 66 at your own pace. It's about 90 miles to Kingman where the next show is located.

We parked the truck and walked around looking at cars/trucks/bikes and anything that runs on the road. After that show we headed to Lake Havasu City for another car show that was part of a Rockabilly concert with 3 different bands.

Sunday morning we left the trailer where we stayed and cruised around Lake Havasu (Mtv spring break location). We met one of the bands ( Rhythm Dragons ) and they posed with my truck & trailer. Cruising around Havasu, I ended up off-roading to get the truck up next to a light house and to drive it on the beach. At the end of the day I hooked up the trailer and headed home. OK enough babbling here are some pictures.
