My 66 GTO project was a completely stripped racecar. 396 Chevy powered. Only wiring in the car was a hot toggle N starter button. 1 tailight on each side. I did get a head start with boxes of SOME of the cars original parts including the seats.
    Justa6 N Justa66....The PONTIAC warcamp.

Was suppose to be a fairly easy transformation back to street car, BUT you all know about the best laid plans. Fired the thumpin 396, but no brakes N the front end was so shot. That you could pull a front wheel back into the fender. (missing rubber in A arm bushings) Complete rebuild with disk brake upgrades, rewiried the car, 1 wire at a time. Found the holy grail of Pontiac motors....421 SD Tri-power. GBYE....Got your Chevy hangin.

4yrs of finding new/used parts for everything from engine pulleys/motor mounts to interior pieces and I can't align the front end. Thinkin frame prob's
Yep, frame is junk, floors/trunk/inner rockers too. Advice from the frameshop...Junk it.

30 yrs building cars with Pontiac Motor Div. I'll spend the next 30 on this if I have to. 1 phone call hooks me up with a frame. Had to strip the Lemans donor car with the owner, completely. We did fight over the dash wiring harness with all my needed bulbs N sockets. (I won)
3 days later, fully preped N painted frame was slipped under the GTO shell @ frame shop N brought home.
Startin over N back to square 1. All new suspension parts front to rear transfered to the new frame, riding on the new Cragers N Stickey Mickeys. All new brake/fuel lines. Body goes up replacing all inner doorpost supports, floorpans, inner rockers, braces N body mounts.

Engine rebuild. All pure Pontiac....Justa better warpaint! Daddy's HOME.
Including Hooker super comp headers, chrome alt/upgrade all missing brackets N pulleys.

June 1st and this turns into a free for all to get er done N on the road for the Woodward Dream Cruise in August.

Interior is installed including rare options such as the Pay to Play. LOL

Finding a trans, the drivetrain was complete N finished the exhaust with a pair of Flowmasters won by the Sunbird in a contest. The car was fired 2 days before Woodward with a few short test drives N photo shoots. Too many small problems will keep it home for the weekend. BUT the Sunbird will be on display with the RIG and a chance to meet Marcel and Bobby. Great times!

Two days later, both cars were put up for the year N I had to have my shoulder rebuilt after tearin it up, gettin the body to line up on the new frame. This winter, once I was able to use the arm a bit. I rewired the rear tail light harness with new sockets and added in sequential tail lights. (the hit/miss working brake/turnsigs was the main reason it was not roadworthy) Have also added the new rocker chrome to finish the exterior. Next up will be the overheating prob. Can't see the $$$ for paint in the future for this summer, but will happen.

Bought my Vette new in July of '02. Here it is at about one month old, already added aftermarket exhaust

Tweaked a few things and added a couple of bolt on's during the winter of '02 - '03. Little did I know I was just getting started.

Shaved door handles, rear brake scoops, new wheels and interior upgrades were next later in '03 - '04.

Later in '04 I built my targa hardtop for the car using convertible, Z06 and coupe parts. Did some additional interior work and stereo upgrades also.

Caravaggio interior, Procharged LS2 402 stroker, 19"/20" iForged Aero's, Nitto tires and a bunch of glass work this is what we have today.

    "" one wild vette ""

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When i was 14 years old i built a model of this car and i knew one day i would have the real thing !! My dream car !! its a 1977 corvette ive had it since 1997 and since then its been through alot of changes ! as you can see the car was striped as i did not like the seliver paint on it ! it had a stock motor, tranny, rear end , over time i hade about 4 motors in it 3 trannys n 3 rear ends in it !! ive change the body style 2 times as you can see in the pics but finnly got it to where i want it to look , very sexy, fast and wild looking , right now it has a 383 stroker motor , 400 trubo tranny , 391 gears , to make a long storie short, or i can go on forever , this car is my first wife , i love it so much that i left so many woman over it , when im down n out and sad about things , i just go and sit in my ride and go for a ride and it makes me feel like nothing matters except the joy that i feel when im driving my ride !!! my dream car is here n nothing is going to come between me n my ride !!!
