    Default About My Ride 65 Cobra "Silver Bullet"

    It is a Kit because I don't have Big money for the real thing
    It has a 302 bored .030 to a 306 412 hp 408 #'s torque 10.5:1 comp. Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock aluminum heads ,Holley 750 CFM Carb,Scat I beam connecting rods,Comp cam,springs and lifters MSD Ignition with aluminum distributor, domed pistons from KB Performance,Tremec 5 spd.Fidanza aluminum flywheel,4 wheel Independent suspension EBC brakes,true Knock off Halibrand wheels wrapped in BFG's.. there is more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head it is a wicked fast car @ only 2014 # I hope you all enjoy it

    Welcome to the site SilverBullet.

    Marcel, usually the Cobra's are built on a late '80's to early '90's Mustang chassis. This one could be different, but having the 302 tell's me it started out as a Mustang. Judging by the pics, looks to be a great job too!!

    Kit Cobras don't start out as another car. They include everything needed to assemble one less motor and trans of your choice, which you must provide.
    Shawn, Mustangs are unibody cars, hence no chassis except a possible subframe. Kit Cobras supply there own chassis and body kit. Had a friend of mine build one with a 502 Big block Chevy with a manual 5 speed trans. Talk about fast !!!!!!

    ]It is a Kit car the only thing that came from a Mustang was the engine everything else was new or fabricated
