    Default Because I'm Losing

    I'm posting a little more info on my car because I'm losing the Ride of the Month Contest and I'm losing bad. I can't let STA-BIL and Packard fans down so I'm going to pitch my Packard.

    1951 Packard 300 Senior
    Chop Top 4 1/2" in front 6 1/2" in rear with a back window from a 1951 Packard 200.
    Converted from a 4 door to a 2 door- 8 inch stretch to the front doors, center post moved back, and rear doors shorted and welded in.
    B pillar slanted and door corner rounded.
    327 cui Straight 8-155 hp 275 ftlbs.
    Ultramatic Transmission.
    3:52 rear diff.
    Bias Ply White Walls.
    Hand Layed Pinstriping only stickers are on the glass.
    Chromed Steering Column.
    RARE Radio delete plate.
    Hood Vents from a vintage Chris Craft boat.
    Spot light mirrors from a 1952 Packard Mayfair.

    I also got blown outta the water with my Sunbird. Being selected is the main PRIZE. This voting is for an extra award. Cracks me up the comment talkin about the Nova N details. Its a beautiful car, but you have the most detailed of all the entry's. Good luck N enjoy the limelight.

    I like the picture with the pin up girls. I'm a fan of cars from the 50's. They have so much character.


    For some strange reason I'm drawn to that truck behind your car in the picture with the girls. LOL
