Default I guess theres no need.....

...for me to ever think of pursuing a die-cast deal with Johnny Lightning!!

    :D

I have a feeling that I'll be be picking up quite a few of these. Final customization looks rather easy....

Holy Crap! I just noticed it says Galveston Fire Dept. on the door. My pic is taken two blocks from the fire station in Galveston, IN!

Sometimes it's the little things that can make you smile...:D

Man ! That's a close replica. Ditch the light bar and decals and you're pretty much there.

I'm thinking correct wheels, Hoosier rear tires, decals removed, lights removed, front bumper split, and hit up someone on a hotwheels site to make some correct 3672 tampos, the only thing different would be the hood.

After doing some digging on Don Kemp (name on package), I found this. His is actually a '74 or later (totally different front facia). I can't believe I never heard/saw this wagon before I painted mine. I bet I spent 12+ hours doing google image searches for anything with Vega & flamed/flames in the title. Oh well, I think the flames work better with the older front end (and I like my layout better too)!!

Kinda what I was have always thought. The '74 and up Vegas just don't have the same appeal to me because of their front end.

I agree. Was thinking old Datsun 240 when I saw the other Vega's front bumper & grill.
