Dawg, I know that Comp Cams sells this additive, as well as GM (EOS). I bought several bottles from Comp Cams on the Power Tour last year. Paid $10 per bottle.

I don't know if Zone, Advance or others have the item on the shelf. My suggestion would be to go to Summit Racing, Jegs, Comp Cams or Amazon for the item.:D

    Thanks.

    Default Thanks!

    Thanks for the suggestion, Dawg!

I work for Gold Eagle and will be sure to include a "zinc additive" in our upcoming meetings for new item ideas.

This is very helpful and we appreciate the help!

Since I just stumbled across this thread, I'd like to suggest a fuel injector cleaner / carb cleaner additive that you put into your gas tank, like Lucas Oil Injector Cleaner or Seafoam has.

That would be 104 octane boost, Heet. Like to add 104 to a full tank of gas when heading up to the cabin. Noticeable difference in gas mileage as well. Don't notice a difference in normal daily driving so I like to add heet every other month or so in the daily driver.

Or just man up and run 50/50 high octane and race fuel !!!!! My car starts and immediately takes off like a fuel injected car! Very little warm up if any needed since swapping to that familiar mix.

5 gal of 115 octane aviation fuel to a tank sure adds some kick for my hotrods. Too cheap to run that combo in my daily driver.

got to say I like that gas combo too, but I am with Justa6 on this one. The 104 Octane boost seems to do the trick and is a lot cheaper to buy.
